These are a decent pair of desk speakers for what they cost, but very important: If they sit on the desk next to your laptop the sound is extremely muffled, so when I first set them up I was a bit disappointed after reading the other rave reviews. They have to be raised and set at ear level in order to appreciate the full range of the sound.
